Magi, written by Shinobu Ohtaka, is about Alibaba who is the main character of the story trying to become rich and famous. The story of the Manga takes place after the Adventures of Sinbad. Alibaba gets himself in trouble plenty of times, but he and his friend Aladdin will go on crazy adventures together. This story has magic in it and dungeons that have to be conquered with magical beings inside of the dungeons. Alibaba meets Aladdin by a complete accident and they instantly go on an adventure, not to their liking. They later become good and close friends.

This Manga has intriguing characters in it because they had real emotions and are amazingly developed. This Manga also has really good comedy that anyone could enjoy. Nothing in this Manga was really bad nor infuriating to any extent because of the characters and storytelling by the author. The Manga is soundly written and has many pleasant surprises in it that you can find out by reading it.

Anybody who wants to read something about a crazy strong character having a fun time over the world of the Manga should read this. Magi is definitely a comedy and action-adventure. If you want a good idea of the world and characters in the story you should definitely read the prequel Adventures of Sinbad. Give this Manga a chance if you are interested in trying to read something different.
