Windows Compute Intensive Systems
The Windows Compute Intensive Systems are a cluster of computational servers capable of handling large jobs, H drive for home directory, I drive share access, and (W drive) scratch storage.
This is an excellent environment for running Windows application jobs that are too resource-intensive (or take too long) to run on a typical workstation, laptop, or PSU virtual computer lab (VLAB). The virtual lab is an excellent remote desktop environment with all of the software available in campus labs. But, it is not intended for long-running or computationally intensive jobs. For these jobs, we offer the OIT RC Windows Compute Intensive Systems.
