The Oregon Registry Online (ORO) is a database that stores training and education for Oregon’s childhood care and education professionals.
The Oregon Registry has expanded to include an online component we call Oregon Registry Online (ORO). This is a statewide database that stores all submitted training and education to be verified for system use, such as the Child Care Licensing Division licensing needs and the Employment Related Day Care program (ERDC). It produces a training and education statement for each person who has an account. This online component includes a Training Calendar and provides participants online access to their own training and education accounts.
Staff are able to upload training and education to their myORO account to be used for licensing needs, their professional development statement and to advance on a Step on the Oregon Registry. They are able to check their professional development statement at any time. There is a place to update their address and name changes. There is also a section on the website where they can check hours for the current licensing period.
