Concurrent Enrollment Options - Earn college credit while still in high school! ○ Students can take RRCC classes to earn college credit and credit toward high school graduation at the same time. Concurrent enrollment opportunities provide college-level courses to high school students at no cost (some restrictions apply). Talk to your high school counselor to learn more.

Concurrent Enrollment Programs FAQs
Each Semester Process:
Step 1: Meet with High School Counselor
● If new to Concurrent Enrollment - student and parent must follow RRCC CE application process and receive RRCC student ID (S number).
Step 2: Complete Required documents
● PCHS Concurrent Enrollment Program Agreement Form (return to Counselor) ● RRCC Concurrent Enrollment Agreement Form (Email to: highschoolrelations@rrcc.edu) ● RRCC Student Financial Responsibility Agreement Form (Email to:

Step 3: Meet with RRCC Advisor
● A Zoom meeting will be set
Step 4: Register for approved classes
***Note: Students under 17 years of age:
● Underage Student/Parent Contract
○ Send to: highschoolrelations@rrcc.edu.
Prerequisite: Prior to enrollment, the student must be approved by the Counselor and Principal and have placement scores at college level. (If PSAT or SAT scores are not available, PCHS will administer Accuplacer testing once in fall and once in spring.
✔ All required documents and processes must be completed correctly and by deadline.
● PCHS Online Program Options - Courses through the Colorado Digital Learning Solutions platform and Fuel Education.
○ Students take online courses for a variety of reasons including: credit recovery, courses that are not offered in the PCHS Master Schedule, school/schedule conflicts, ICAP paths, or alternative placement.
○ All courses are taught by ESSA highly-qualified teachers
○ Examples of courses include, but are not limited to, Mandarin Chinese, C++ Programming, Veterinarian Science, and Anthropology.
○ Grade Level - 10 - 12. 9th grade students on Advance Learning Plans may petition the Counselor and Principal to take an Online class
Prerequisite: Prior to enrollment, the student must complete a PCHS Online Contract with Counselor and Director Approval.
● Warren Tech Options - CTE Center - The opportunity to be competitive in today’s high-tech, skills-based society and global economy.
○ Over 1,500 juniors, seniors and adult students in 36 innovative programs work with experienced faculty and industry partners to engage in Postsecondary Workforce Readiness (PWR) skills, real-world professional projects, and internships. Students earn approximately 13,000 college credits and 1,600 industry certification yearly.
○ An extension of the high school, students attend a Warren Tech campus for half the day and their home high school the other half.
○ Credits earned at Warren Tech count toward graduation from students’ home high school.
Prerequisite: Warren Tech Acceptance/Approval Agreement
○ The selection process accepted by PCHS and Warren Tech to be enrolled.
● In-Depth Study Options - In Depth Study of individualized course work ○ Designed for students who wish to pursue individualized course work beyond the school day.
○ Students must interview with the evaluation committee, present a written proposal including subject area, goals and objectives of the study, present an outline of how 120 hours will be budgeted and explain how the goals will be demonstrated.
○ Students will be assigned a mentor/teacher from the particular department of their course of interest.
○ Students will earn a Pass/Fail grade upon all completed work and presentation of work completed
Prerequisite: Staff Leadership Team and Mentor/Teacher Approval.
● Work-Based Learning - ACE
○ Allows students to apply technical and employability skills in a work setting through internships, work experiences, and similar activities in a career field of interest at an employer’s site.
○ Students will fulfill a capstone project requirement and present the work experience publicly following the criteria set forth in the Senior Capstone Project course.

● Individual College and Career Path Planning (ICAP) - ICAP development supports academic achievement by providing long term goals for career and college admissions.
○ ICAP is a multi-year process that intentionally guides students in the exploration of career, academic and postsecondary opportunities.
○ With the support of adults, students develop the awareness, knowledge, attitudes, and skills to create their own meaningful and powerful pathways to Postsecondary and Workforce Readiness (PWR).
○ Each year students will meet with the Counselor and or the Post Graduate Advisor to plan out their pathways.
