● QuestBridge
o Households earning less than $65,000 annually for a family of
four, and often less
o Top 5-10% of graduating class
o SAT or PSAT Scores 1310 or higher or ACT composite score of 28
or higher
o Strong writing ability, intellectual spark, and determination
through essays and teacher/counselor recommendations

o Open to everyone, not just engineer majors. Based on character, not GPA or financial need

o Open to high school seniors who plan to attend a 2 or 4 year nstitution. Winners chosen at random, 1,000, Oct.

o Scholastic achievement, leadership, community service. Award Varies, Oct.
November Deadline
● Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship
o 3.5 GPA, SAT 1200 or above and/or ACT of 26, 3.5, SAT 1200 or above and/or ACT of 26, demonstrate financial need, family income under $95,000, Award is up to $40,000, Opens in
Sept.-Due Late Nov.
● Prudential Spirit of Community Award
o Students grades 5-12 can apply, describe a community service or leadership activity that has taken place in the previous year, $1,000-5,000
● Elks Most Valuable Student Awards
o Ranges from $1,000-$12,000 to start and then if student wins next place awards could be up to $50,000
● Elks Legacy Awards
o For students who are children or grandchildren of members, $4,000
December Deadline
● Delete Cyberbullying Scholarship
o Selection is based on the written essay and focused on creativity, content and a commitment to the cause of deleting cyberbullying, $1,500
● NFIB Young Entrepreneur Foundation
o High school seniors who operate their own small business, $2,000-$15,000
January Deadline
● GE Reagan Foundation Scholarship
o 3.0 GPA, demonstrate financial need, enroll in a 4 year University. Leadership, drive, integrity, citizenship, $10,000 renewable
● Bootstraps
o Graduating from high school in the current school year; and
o Legal resident of the State of Colorado
o Reside within the boundaries of Clear Creek, Conifer, Evergreen, or Platte Canyon High Schools
o Plan to pursue a postsecondary education full-time in the fall immediately following high school graduation. Postsecondary includes college, university, vocational and technical schools
o Financial need
● White Rose Scholarship
o Please note: all eligibility requirements above must be met and all required documentation (including transcripts and letters of recommendation) must accompany the application or your application will not be considered. Unmarked pages or documents mailed separate from your application will not be considered. We do not accept applications electronically.
o The application must be postmarked no later than January 18, 2020 and be received no later than January 31, 2020. Please do
not send any materials by certified mail or with signature required.
February Deadline
● Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship
o The JRF program provides college scholarships, guidance, and support for students of color $30,000
● Key Club Scholarships
o Scholarship applications are posted November 1. Application submissions are due February 1.
March Deadline
● Horatio Alger Scholarship
o For students who have exhibited determination, integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity, as well as critical financial need.
o 2.0 GPA or higher required (opens December 1st)
o $10,000 scholarship!
● American Legion Auxiliary
o Must be a child or grandchild of a veteran,
o complete application and financial statement,
o $1,000,
o Usually due March 1st
● BMW/SAE Engineering Scholarship
o Rank 90th percentile in both math and critical reading; pursuing
o additionally gets $500
● Never Forgotten Scholarship
o One applicant for this scholarship will be determined from PCHS students who first submit their application to Mrs. Theobald
o Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent legal resident
o Have a cumulative G.P.A. (unweighted) of at least 3.0
o Have a strong record of school and community involvement
o Plan to attend an accredited college or university full-time for the upcoming academic year
● FEEA Scholarships
o Be a child or dependent of a federal civilian or postal employee
o Unweighted 3.0 GPA or higher
● Doodle for Google
o Doodle a picture with G-O-O-G-L-E in it, $30,000
April Deadline
● Kit Faragher Foundation
o Applicants must have a minimum high school GPA of 2.5.
o Applicants must demonstrate financial need for assistance.
o Applicants should demonstrate a positive attitude, strong commitment, and a drive towards accomplishment.
o Applicants must submit completed application, official high school transcripts, and a written essay, which captures their sense of personality and achievements, while describing their short and long-term goals.
● Student View
o One (1) individual prize of a $5000 scholarship.
o Two (2) individual prize of a $1,000 scholarship.
o Ten (10) individual prizes, consisting of $500 scholarships each
