GivePulse is a powerful search tool to find organization profiles and volunteer opportunities. Filter by key words, dates, location, and types of events.
Reporting made easy through GivePulse! By using the platform, your course and students’ impact will automatically be shared with the CBL Program.
GIvePulse allows the CBL Program to manage community partnerships and track engagement for students in community-based learning courses. You will be able to log in to GivePulse using your MyPCC login. If you need assistance with the platform, please contact the CBL Program Coordinator.
Group page for you CBL designated class
All courses designated as CBL will have a course group page for faculty to manage and track student engagement. Using the course dashboard, faculty have the ability to:
View course roster* with individual student impacts and reflections
Facilitate and mange forms (learning agreements, liability waivers, etc) and reflections
Share specific community partners and/or opportunities that are course relevant
Create volunteer events/opportunities
*course roster is sync'd with Banner on a nightly basis
Navigate to the Classes Dashboard to find your courses
Start from PCC.GIVEPULSE.COM
Log in to GivePulse using your MyPCC login.
In the top right corner, click “My Activity”,
From that drop down menu, click “Classes”
All courses you are teaching with a CBL component will be listed. If you do not see your course, please make sure you have registered the current term's course CRNs with the CBL Program.
Find the course and click on the arrow next to “Admin.” Select “Manage” and this will take you to the course’s dashboard.
How to search for volunteer opportunities & community partners
Log in to GivePulse for PCC
Select the Explore lnk at the top of the page; this will redirect you to a search engine
If you are looking for volunteer opportunities, search in the Events and Opportunities tab
To look for an organization to volunteer with, change the search tab to Groups and Organizations
Impacts are how you can track each student's community engagement.
There are many ways to add impacts in GivePulse, but we recommend that students add their own impacts.
As faculty, you also have the ability to add impacts for students. Contact the CBL Program for assistance.
