Phlebotomy Technician program

As a student in the Phlebotomy Technician program (CPT-1) you will learn didactic, laboratory, and clinical experiences that encompass emerging and innovative technologies in preparation for a healthcare career.


The program is 88 hours (48 didactic/varies - Lab/40 externship)  Students receive live in-person hours with an instructor in the evenings weekly.  To be eligible for the 40-hour externship placement, you must complete:

All 40 hours didactic classroom portion

Pass the National Phlebotomy Technician exam

Practice lab skills three (3) times per month leading to externship start date


To enroll in the Phlebotomy program, you will need to submit the following:

Proof of high school graduation, TB skin or TB blood test, recent physical examination, proof of drug test, immunization record, background check, and identification.


Must be 18 years of age.
