User Comments And Moderation Rules

Patch is a community platform, which means our users are valuable contributors of content and conversation. But not all of their comments are valuable. And some are downright mean and nasty. Patch employs a team of moderators to police the site.

Patch publishes an average of 150k pieces of User Generated Content (UGC) to the site each month — articles, classifieds, events, neighbor posts, replies that are not posted by Patch staff.
