Vice President for Administration and Finance
As an institution of higher learning, the University governance and management strongly adheres to the principles of transparency, accountability, and participatory decision-making. At the core of these principles is our commitment to excellence in all aspects. The management promotes collective leadership and shared governance and as such, every stakeholder is given an opportunity to take part in shaping the university policies and development direction.
Our current management practices embody efficiency, effectiveness, and responsiveness. We prioritize the development of our human resources, infrastructure, and technology to support the delivery of quality services. Testament to this effort is the continuous training of existing manpower complement, and hiring of new personnel to add up to the current pool of talents. Along infrastructure and physical development, every resource is maximized in establishing facilities that are highly functional and useful while ensuring lower carbon footprints. The university’s manpower support group – the non-teaching personnel, operates under the tenet of student-centered service delivery.
To this end, and to further ensure that management embody the core values of the institution, Quality Management System is in place. This is to ensure continuous improvement in our academic and administrative processes. We are currently implementing the university’s 5-year Strategic Plan and the 10-year Land Use Development and Infrastructure Plan (LUDIP). Above it all, we are continuously promoting transparency and accountability in our operations through regular reporting, disclosure of information, and feedback mechanisms.
