In fifth grade students will grow as artists and creative thinkers.
Students will learn that art can make a personal statement and that art influences opinions.
They will also begin to understand why artists use specific elements in their art.
They will continue to learn about cultural art and art history.
Students will improve their craftsmanship and use of the elements and principals of design:
Movement, Pattern, Focal Point, Mass and Volume, Line, Shape, Color, Texture and Space.
