In fourth grade students will grow as artists and creative thinkers!
Students will begin to develop an art vocabulary used to describe artworks and their compositions. They will learn that art communicates history and culture.
They will also learn more about the relationship between art and society and the difference between hand made vs. machine made.
Students will build upon their knowledge and use of the elements and principals of art:
Line, Shape, Color, Texture, Space, Value, Balance, Unity, Movement, Pattern, and Emphasis.
