In third grade students will grow as artists and creative thinkers.
They will begin to understand the relationship between art and society and that art can have a function or purpose.
In addition to gaining more experience and skill with art materials, students will also practice drawing from life. They will continue to learn about cultural arts and the elements and principles of art.
