Edpuzzle is formative assessment for videos. Edpuzzle allows you to have students respond to questions while watching a video so that you can gauge their understanding of the content.
Edpuzzle originals are professionally made video lessons with built-in questions that will keep your students engaged and learning.
With the Edpuzzle extension for Google Chrome, you can record, trim, and upload a screen recording, webcam video, or combination of the two.
Don't copy assignments from one course to another. Always use "Add Materials."
Remember to click Edit and Enable grading for each video.
If you or a student get an "Oops!" message, just refresh.
If you use linked class sections, don't use the dropdown menu. ➡️
How To Add A Co-Teacher in Edpuzzle
To add a co-teacher:
Co-teachers in SchoologyPre-requisites:
Co-teacher(s) configured with admin role in Schoology course
Co-teacher has active, verified Edpuzzle teacher account
For co-teacher:
From within the Schoology course, access the Edpuzzle button from the left-hand menu (alternatively, Materials > Add Materials > Edpuzzle then proceed to step 2)
You will be prompted to log into your Edpuzzle account. Log in.
Next, you will be prompted to create an Edpuzzle class. This is OK- it will not overwrite or break your co-teacher's existing integration.
Add the subject area and grade level of the course and (optionally) set a course description.
Click the blue "Create class" button.
You are all set! The co-teacher can now view student progress and grade answers for Edpuzzle assignments posted to this course by your co-teacher. You can also assign video lessons stored in your "My Content" directly to this same Schoology course!
Notes :
Deleting classes with co-teachers: all co-teachers will need to remove the class from their edpuzzle.com account before it can be deleted. Co-teachers will see the option to "Leave class", except for the last one to leave will have the option to "Delete class"
Teachers are sometimes concerned when they're prompted to create a class, thinking it will overwrite or conflict with their co-teacher's class. Both teachers need to have their own verified Edpuzzle account AND must have created that Edpuzzle class from within the Schoology course.
