Approved Tools List
This is a list of Approved Generative AI tools. District policy indicates staff and students will only use tools approved on this list. If you'd like us to consider adding a tool not on the list, please enter a support ticket with the "App Request" type and advise if it is just for teacher use, or for teachers and students to access.
Exploration Pathway
Our Generative AI exploration pathway offers Parkland teachers the chance to explore Generative AI tools and learn effective strategies for using them in the classroom.
Take 6 academies, and mark your dates attended on this checklist as you complete them. Once you've completed the academies, submit your filled out pathway sheet below. Teachers in grades 8-12 can have Gemini & NotebookLM enabled for all the students on their roster, or just certain sections if they prefer.
Enabling Gemini & NotebookLM in grades 7 & below is being evaluated carefully, with updates to be provided as changes are made.
