PROJECT RED DAWN - "Igniting the next horizon of exploration."
"To inspire a new generation of explorers to reach beyond the boundaries of Earth, uniting science, imagination, and innovation in the pursuit of humanity’s next great frontier — Mars."
As the Parklands College STAR Programme continues its pioneering Project Genesis mission — soon to reach the International Space Station — and looks ahead to Project Selene and lunar exploration, our learners are already setting their sights on the next great frontier: Mars.
Project Red Dawn represents the bold vision of taking learning, innovation, and imagination to new worlds. Named for the radiant glow of the Martian sunrise, this future mission will challenge learners to explore what it would take for humans to live, work, and thrive on the Red Planet.
Through research, design challenges, and experimental modelling, learners will investigate the conditions on Mars — from its thin atmosphere to its potential for supporting life — while developing creative solutions for sustainable exploration.
More than just a study of Mars, Project Red Dawn will inspire a generation of thinkers who see no limits to what humanity can achieve when curiosity leads the way.
