Schedule Changes

• Only one (1) schedule change appointment permitted per student.  

  • Therefore, we advise that you consider all requests carefully in advance. 

  • You may not change back to the original schedule once the change is made.

  • Keep in mind that some changes may be disruptive to the entire schedule and may require the student to change teachers and periods in other courses. 

• Deadline for schedule changes: September 8th (the fifth day of school)

  • Exception: Only Level Down Requests will be accepted through the mid-point of MP1 (Oct. 6th).

  • Note:  The Level Up Request deadline has already passed.

• Important Reminders (Please Read):

  • Schedule changes should be pursued for reasons such as:  scheduling error, partial schedule, scheduled for a course previously taken, have not met course prerequisites, or assigned to previously failed course with the same teacher. 

  • A request may be rejected if there are no available seats, sections become grossly imbalanced, or the course is required for graduation. 

  • Students may not request teacher, period or lunch changes.
