Media: There are no restrictions on media. You can submit work that showcases your primary area of interest or a variety of different media. This can include drawings, paintings, designs, photography, 3D work, or videos.
Key Focus: SCAD's portfolio review is about assessing your foundational skills, creativity, and potential for success in a creative career. While there are no specific media requirements for general admission, certain majors may have more specific recommendations. For example, prospective animation students are encouraged to include life drawings and character sketches. SCAD also looks for a "strong sense of composition, color, and design." An optional artist statement can provide valuable context for your work.
