Portfolio Requirements:
Number of Pieces: 10–15 pieces of your best and most recent work.
Media: There are no restrictions on media. You can focus on a single medium or showcase a breadth of work including drawings, paintings, sculptures, photography, film, animation, fashion designs, and graphic design.
Key Focus: SAIC is interested in seeing your personality, interests, and willingness to experiment. They want to get a sense of who you are as an artist and how you think. Work that is copied directly from other artists or photographs is discouraged. An artist's statement is also required to provide context for your work.
