How do I register for class?
Visit our website at STNAClass.net.
Click "CLASSES" on the horizontal toolbar and scroll down to the course you'd like to enroll in.
Select "Browse Classes" to determine which class you wish to register for.
Choose the course you wish to enroll in.
Complete the registration form.
You will be prompted to make payment at the end of the registration process.
If you are being sponsored by an employer, etc. simply select "I have a sponsor." In the comments add the name of the company as well as the name/contact information of the person approving you to take the class.
What is the Train-the-Trainer, STNA Instructor program
The Train-the-Trainer, STNA Instructor program is licensed by the Ohio Department of Health to train eligible Registered Nurses (see "What are the prerequisites for the program?" for details) to become STNA instructors in the State of Ohio.

Primary Instructor
Possess a current, valid Registered Nursing license
Two years licensed nurse experience, one of which is in the provision of long-term care services (one year is 1600 hours. Must specify hours or mention "full time" OR in evaluating , in a long-term care setting, the clinical skills of individual providing care is considered experience in caring for the elderly or chronically ill;
Train-the-Trainer class OR one year experience teaching adults and possessing a TTT manual OR within the last three years, provided at least one year of direct supervision of nurse aides in a long-term care facility as an RN.
Supplemental Instructor
Must be one of the following with one years' experience in the provision of long-term care services:
licensed health professionals (LPN, etc.)
dietician
sanitarian
ombudsmen
counselors
activities specialist
gerontologist
fire safety experts
residents
nurse aides (must be STNA)
If you are an LPN, you cannot be a Primary Instructor according to the new rules. If you take the class (you are welcome to), you will not receive a Certificate of Completion approved by Ohio Department of Health, but instead will receive a Certificate of Completion verifying that you received education in Ohio Administrative Code 3701-18.

You will need to complete the following forms:
Submit a current resume (must reflect required hours to participate in the course).
Letter(s) from your employer(s) validating at least the number of hours required to participate in the course. Must be on company letterhead and signed by the representative validating.
Copy of your certificate or diploma as required for Program Coordinator, if you plan to serve as a PC.

What does the course schedule look like?
28 hours total
The course opens on Monday and closes on Saturday. All assignments must be submitted on time
Knowledge education is provided online, virtually, self-paced
Competencies/Skills involve recording yourself doing a 15-min. presentation and uploading that for the class to view
There is no clinical time required

What is your refund policy?
POLICY:
Refunding of monies:
1. Paradigm Health Services, LLC has adopted the following statement regarding the refunding of monies for its Train-the-Trainer program.
a) A deposit of $100 is not refundable.
b) If a student must withdraw early, he/she must withdraw within 48 hours of the start of class to receive a 50% refund of any monies paid.
c) Appropriate document must be completed/returned to request a refund.
d) If the student fails to follow appropriate procedures or completion of documentation, he/she will receive a refund of $0.
e) If the student completes appropriate documentation, but submits it more than 48 hours after the beginning of class, he/she will receive $0 in refund.
f) If a student is dismissed from the program for any reason, at any time, he/she will receive a refund of $0.

Where can I work after finishing the program?
Any Nurse Aide Training & Competency Evaluation Program in the State of Ohio.
This course also serves as the required Train-the-Trainer course for the Ohio Medication Aide Program, licensed by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
