How do I register for the class?
Visit our website at STNAClass.net.
Click "CLASSES" on the horizontal toolbar and scroll down to the course you'd like to enroll in.
Select "Browse Classes" to determine which class you wish to register for.
Choose the course you wish to enroll in.
Complete the registration form.
You will be prompted to make payment at the end of the registration process.
If you are being sponsored by an employer, etc. simply select "I have a sponsor." In the comments add the name of the company as well as the name/contact information of the person approving you to take the class.
What is a Medication Aide?
A Medication Aide is a nursing assistant who is trained and legally permitted to administer certain medications in a Skilled / Long-Term Care Facility or Residential Care Facility (Assisted Living, etc.)
Students must demonstrate competency in:
all skills demonstrated
Students must earn an 80% in the overall class to successfully complete the program.
What are the prerequisites for the program?
Must be 18 years old
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Currently listed on the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry
Background check sent directly to the Ohio Board of Nursing using appropriate code
BCI and FBI (can be done by Paradigm Health Services for $85-25% student discount = $63.75
Drug Screening, if required by clinical site (can be done by Paradigm Health Services for $32.50)
Health Physical (can be done by Paradigm Health Services for $45)
Tuberculosis Screening (can be done at any health department or walkin clinic)
COVID-19 Vaccination Passport/Card or ask us for an exemption request form
FYI - Background checks and drug screening are available at Paradigm for 25% discount

What is your refund policy?
POLICY:
Refunding of monies:
1. Paradigm Health Services, LLC has adopted the following statement regarding the refunding of monies for its Medication Aide program:
a) A deposit of $200 is not refundable.
b) If a student must withdraw early, he/she must withdraw within 48 hours of the start of class to receive a 50% refund of any monies paid (50% of monies more than $200 deposit).
c) Appropriate document must be completed/returned to request a refund.
d) If the student fails to follow appropriate procedures or completion of documentation, he/she will receive a refund of $0.
e) If the student completes appropriate documentation, but submits it more than 48 hours after the beginning of class, he/she will receive $0 in refund.
f) If a student is dismissed from the program for any reason, at any time, he/she will receive a refund of $0.

Where will I take my state test?
Great news! You can take the state test in the same place that you train during class in most cases.
If you prefer, you can test elsewhere - but it is not recommended.
