How do I register for class?
Visit our website at STNAClass.net.
Click "CLASSES" on the horizontal toolbar and scroll down to the course you'd like to enroll in.
Select "Browse Classes" to determine which class you wish to register for.
Choose the course you wish to enroll in.
Complete the registration form.
You will be prompted to make payment at the end of the registration process.
If you are being sponsored by an employer, etc. simply select "I have a sponsor." In the comments add the name of the company as well as the name/contact information of the person approving you to take the class.
What is an STNA?
A State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) is a nursing assistant who has gone through a Nurse Aide Training & Competency Evaluation Program, licensed by the Ohio Department of Health. STNAs were previously known as CNAs.
Students must demonstrate competency in:
all skills demonstrated
Students must earn an 80% in the overall class to successfully complete the program.
What are the prerequisites for the program?
Must be of legal working age (typically 16)
You do NOT have to have a high school diploma or GED
Background check
BCI if you have lived in Ohio for at least five years (can be done by Paradigm Health Services for $44-25%=$33)
BCI and FBI if you have not lived in Ohio for at least five years (can be done by Paradigm Health Services for $85-25%=$63.75)
Drug Screening, if required by the clinical site (can be done by Paradigm Health Services for $32.50)
Health Physical (can be done by Paradigm Health Services for $45)
COVID-19 Vaccination Passport/Card or ask us for an exemption request form

What does the course schedule look like?
We offer flexibility in scheduling, offering both day and evening courses!
Day Class Schedule
Monday - Thursday, 8a-2p
Mondays & Thursdays are done via live video using Google Meet, with an instructor
Tuesdays & Thursdays are done in-person at Paradigm Health Services.
Clinical is done at a local nursing home, the last two Saturdays of the program, from 8a-4:30p.
100% attendance and participation is required.
Evening Class Schedule
Monday - Thursday, 5p-11p
Mondays & Thursdays are done via live video using Google Meet, with an instructor
Tuesdays & Thursdays are done in-person at Paradigm Health Services.
Clinical is done at a local nursing home, the last two Saturdays of the program, from 8a-4:30p.
100% attendance and participation is required.
How much does it cost?
$704 total, which includes:

Sponsor - we accept payments from sponsoring organizations, such as nursing homes, home health organizations, hospitals, churches, non-profit organizations, Job & Family Services' programs, etc.
We can help you find a sponsor if you need one!
What is your refund policy?
Refunding of monies:
1. Paradigm Health Services, LLC has adopted the following statement regarding the refunding of monies for its Nurse Aide Training & Competency (NATCEP) program.
a) A deposit of $100 is not refundable.
b) If a student must withdraw early, he/she must withdraw within 48 hours of the start of class to receive a 50% refund of any monies paid.
c) Appropriate document must be completed/returned to request a refund.
d) If the student fails to follow appropriate procedures or completion of documentation, he/she will receive a refund of $0.
e) If the student completes appropriate documentation, but submits it more than 48 hours after the beginning of class, he/she will receive $0 in refund.
f) If a student is dismissed from the program for any reason, at any time, he/she will receive a refund of $0.

Yes! To date, Paradigm Health Services has a 100% job placement rate for STNAs who complete our programs.
Where will I take my state test?
Great news! You can take the state test in the same place that you train during class, in most cases.
If you prefer, you can test elsewhere - but it is not recommended.
