u17 Girls finish top 4 in greater auckland

u15 Rugby to face Wesley in counties Final

SPORTS RESULTS 2021

BASKETBALL: Our Senior Girls played in the Counties u17/u19 combined competition this year, and finished the season by beating the number one team, Manurewa in their final game. Despite having the same W/L record as 2nd placed Rosehill, our girls finished 3rd in the division because of points differential and moved on to the u17 Greater Auckland Championships. In the Greater Auckland Championships, our girls fought hard and placed 4th overall after beating Botany Downs Secondary College and close losses against the two top teams, Kelston Girls and Destiny.

The u17 boys capped off a dominant regular season with a convincing final win over De La Salle to win the Counties u17 boys B grade.

2019: As we move on from the year 2019. Papakura High School would like to thank Fabian Broughton for his continuous dedication to the role as Sports Coordinator for the past 5 years. Fabian has left a huge impact on our school and community as he returns to another familiar environment, Coaching Rugby Union in Germany. We would also like to thank former student & Kaitiaki Macy Andrews for continuing to fill the position for the remainder of the year.
