*****Mixed B team is still being finalised
I want to say thank you to everyone who trialed and did their best! Because of the number of participants that turned up to trials, we are only able to put together 4 teams. We do encourage you to put yourself out there and try a new sport. Please talk to Miss Henry or Ish if you are not sure what to try! Team selections were made based on performance in the trial games, your accuracy and coachability in warm ups and drills, plus the attitude, commitment and communication shown throughout the trial process.
The expectation for netball 2024 is to:
Have 80% school attendance (or be working towards it)
Attend all training sessions and game
Communicate effectively to your coach and manager throughout the season
Have the correct equipment (allowing you to play your best)
Be organised and take responsibility for yourself
Please find the teams below and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out.

UNISS 2023
This year Miss Lloyd, Coach Kuga and Aunty Amie took ten girls to the Hamilton Netball Centre to face off against schools from all over the Upper North Island.
The girls worked hard all throughout term 2 and 3 putting in extra sessions to prepare for the week-long schedule. Despite travelling to and from school on the first two days, the girls won 3 out of their 4 games which placed them well going into the second half of the week.
Wednesday brought some tough match ups, but on Thursday the girls bounced back and were able to play on one of the featured courts and be broadcast live on Maori TV Youtube. (click the video below to watch their match against Waiheke). On the final day, a group of supporters from school turned up to give the girls a boost, then the girls finished up playing Hamilton Girls Inv. for the second time.
Overall the girls had a great week full of ups and downs, but they put out a performance they can be proud of. Special mention goes to the Chapman sisters who were both selected in the Tournament team, and also to Year 9 Charneeqkwa Tofilau who stepped up into the Senior team.
