The Standard
L2 MIDI MUSIC TECH STANDARD NEW_32302.pdfFor this assessment activity, you will create and edit a piece of music using the features and functions of a MIDI sequencer programme, as GarageBand or online such as BandLab, or a digital audio workstation (DAW).
In creating and editing your music: you must include and use all of the following functions
minimum of 2 minutes
minimum of 3 tracks - cohesive structuring of musical ideas
creation of tracks
structuring of musical ideas
includes – creation of tracks
inputting and editing MIDI notes
selective rhythmic quantising
editing velocity
volume automation
automation of MIDI continuous controller messages
