Crawford County Fair

The Crawford County Fair came into existence in 1938. It started after the Oblong Mardi Gras celebration. Eulan Aten and Byrl P. Moody were some of the founding members, and were elected to the first Crawford County Fair Board. The fair began in Robinson, but was moved to Oblong in 1940, where it still is to this day. Over the years, there have been many types of entertainment at the fair, including horse shows, Midway entertainment, and all types of vaudeville acts.
