Dual enrollment courses are offered at PCHS through Laurel Ridge Community College. In a dual enrollment class, students can earn both high school and college credits. Students take the courses at PCHS. In order for students to earn college credit, students must earn a grade of C or higher in the course. As of this school year, the dual enrolled classes that are offered in our building at PCHS are at no cost to our students!
Upon graduation, if you plan to further your education, you as the student must send your official transcripts from Laurel Ridge to the college/university you plan to attend. The Counseling office does NOT have access to your final official transcript and CANNOT send it for you.
We have a Dual Enrollment Specialist that comes every Fall & Spring to meet with students interested in pursuing a one year certificate or two year associates degree. Please see Mrs. Betcher or one of your counselors to sign up - spaces are limited!
