Week beginning - Monday 9th February 2026
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
This week in Inquiry, we covered a diverse range of topics. We explored the Unification of England and the monarchy's legacy, while our science investigations focused on thermal insulators and separating soluble solids from liquids. We also held an excellent discussion on Human Rights and the Rights of the Child, followed by a thoughtful inquiry reflection where the children looked back on their learning journey this term.
We also had a busy Number Day, which involved reading books about numbers in different jobs, solving maths investigations, and even designing and budgeting for a class party. A huge congratulations to 5J for winning the TTRS battle across the year group — you are true maths champions! We also continued our respect sessions this week, bringing a positive end to the half term. We wish everyone a restful and enjoyable break.
