This year in 6th grade Spanish, we are reviewing the basic concepts from Elementary school and will build off of them to better understand the fundamentals of understanding and speaking Spanish. We are learning Salutations and Small Talk, Languages and Origins, Introductions and Professions, Personal Information. In each unit, students will be introduced to a new basic grammar concept and/or verb and will use these alongside familiar vocabulary to use what they already know in new contexts. I am using MangoLanguages as a guide for the units to allow students easy access to extra help (there are topics covered in class that are additional to mangolanguages-the slides are always uploaded to GoogleClassroom for review).
