Weather plays a major role in landscaping and snow operations. This page explains how we manage delays, how you’ll be notified, and what to expect if weather impacts your scheduled service.
Delays may be required when conditions affect:
Safety of crew and equipment
Quality of service outcomes
Property conditions (wet grass, ice, flooding)
Township or roadway restrictions
State of emergency declarations
We prioritize safe and high-quality service over rushing through unsafe weather.
Rain & Wet Conditions
Mowing may be postponed to avoid lawn damage or ruts.
Rescheduling typically occurs within 24–48 hours.
Thunderstorms & Lightning
Immediate pause or cancelation for crew safety.
Service resumes once storms pass or next available window.
Extreme Heat or Cold
May override normal scheduling for crew safety and equipment performance.
Snow & Ice
Snow removal takes priority.
Standard landscaping is paused temporarily.
Severe Storms or State Emergencies
Routes adjusted based on township access and safety.
Communication sent to affected customers.
When weather delays a service:
You will receive email or text notification.
Your service will be moved to the next available route window.
Priority is given to:
recurring service customers
emergency snow removal
commercial/HOA properties
Most residential reschedules occur within 1–3 days.
Customers are notified via:
Email and/or SMS alerts
Service portal updates
Phone, when required for complex delays
Notifications include:
reason for delay
new estimated service window
instructions if access is required
Weather-related delays:
do not incur cancellation fees
do not incur missed-service fees
do not incur rescheduling charges
Any service affected by weather is rescheduled at no cost.
We avoid mowing on saturated lawns to prevent:
turf damage
soil compression
ruts
uneven cutting
This protects your yard and reduces long-term maintenance expenses.
During snowstorms:
Emergency routes may be prioritized
Commercial clients and HOAs may be serviced first
Residential driveways are routed next
Salt or return visits may occur after plowing based on conditions.
To assist with weather planning:
Keep contact details updated for alerts
Move vehicles or obstacles if requested
Maintain access for snow removal after plows
This ensures minimal delay once conditions allow.
“Do I get charged if my service is delayed due to weather?”
No. Weather delays never result in fees.
“When will my mowing be rescheduled?”
Typically within 24–72 hours depending on route and conditions.
“What if I have an event or urgent need?”
Contact support. Priority accommodation may be offered where possible.
