Bret Harte Movie Nights (Sponsored by the ABBC)
Movie Nights are on hold during the Omicron surge.
At least once a month, the ABBC hosts movie nights! Come support the ABBC, enjoy some yummy snacks and have fun enjoying a movie with your fellow bobcats!
Previous Movie Nights have included: Elf, Coco, In The Heights & Kiki's Delivery Service
On May 17th, 2021 the Any Book Book Club welcomed Author Peggy Wirgau to talk about her book The Stars in April, the true story of Ruth Becker, a 12 year old girl who survived the sinking of the Titanic.
The event was held over Zoom, and recorded. If you'd like to view the recording, contact Ms. Solia!
Special thanks to the Bret Harte PTSA who helped fund copies of Ms. Wirgau's book for the ABBC as part of our Book of the Year discussion group!
Ms. Solia and Ms. Sparks, librarian from Greenleaf, meet on Instagram Live to read and talk about the Harry Potter Series!
We are live on Thursdays at 12:30pm, via the @Brethartelibrary and @Greenleaflibrary Instagram pages!
On January 14th 2021 we started Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban, but if you want to catch up on previous 'episodes' go to the @greenleaflibrary page anytime you like!
