A 'status update' is a quick way to provide a visual indicator showing how your project is progressing -
This is sometimes referred to as a RAG status, or a 'health check' of your project.
It only takes a couple of seconds to provide a status update.
Every three months, follow these simple steps:
We have established a Project Support Group who are there to assist you with the delivery of your project(s). They can provide support on any matter:
Providing a status update gives this group an indication of how your project is progressing.
The group is your friend - it can however only help if you let them know!
Green - your project is proceeding as shown in your project plan, with no risks or issues raised.
Amber - your project is proceeding as planned, but you are aware of risks or issues that have changed that may impact upon your project in the next reporting period. You may wish to have support from the Project Support Group.
Red - your project is not proceeding as planned, and you require support from the Project Support Group and / or intervention by the Strategic Project Board.
