Through observations of how children were accessing the environment in the Nursery and P1, it was noticed that not many of children and in particular girls were engaging in science and STEM play. This Project was designed around the Essential Questions of : "What is a Scientist's job? What Skills do you need to be a Scientist ? and Who can be a Scientist ? "

A parcel arrived with lots of scientific picture clues on the outside of the box and containing a letter and a book from Ada Twist Scientist.

The boys and girls received a message for Ada Twist the scientist as well as a letter.
We got a letter !!!

Ada is asking for help. She is looking for a group of scientists to help her look after planet Earth.
The class and the teacher discussed:
- What is a scientist's job?
- Who can be a scientist?
- What skills does a scientist need?
