Purpose: Exams are a helpful way to find out how well you are learning the material. They also are an great way to help you practice applying what you have learned through the readings.
Task: You will have a midterm (Week 8) and a final (Week 16). Each exam will be taken right in your Blackboard course shell. Each will include 50 questions that will be multiple choice, true/false, fill in the blank, and/or matching. You will have 2 hours to complete each exam - the test is timed, so you must complete it in a single sitting as the clock does not stop once you begin. You can, however, take your exam at any point during the exam period. Your midterm exam will cover Chapters 1-7 and your final exam (non-cumulative) will cover Chapters 8-13.
Criteria for Success: If you have completed the readings ahead of starting the exam, the exam should be relatively easy. You are welcome to use your textbook and any notes you take during your reading, but you may not work with anyone else on the exams. Although you will be able to see your exam score once you submit, you will not be able to review your exam to see what questions you got correct and incorrect until the exam period closes.
Your midterm exam is due Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.
Your final exam is due Friday, December 11, 2020 at 11:59 p.m.
