How to Add a Power Button to Your Raspberry PiThis guide will show you how to add a power button or switch to your Raspberry Pi that can turn your Pi on or off.

If you go to this site it will give you the instructions needed to install and set up a power button for your raspberry pi. In this link you will need to download Putty and understand how to SSH into the Raspberry Pi. Power button uses pin 5 for positive and pin 9 for ground. Click on the arcade machine tab for a diagram of pin layout.

Unfortunately as of 4/26/2021, I was not able to get the button to work even after doing all the steps in the guide provided, I have tried the GIT function but it doesn't seem to work.
