Autonomous Control

Whether with tilt or joysticks, those controllers are a form of manual control of a drone. In an autonomous control system a computer/program is making all of the decisions without any user input. This can have its advantages, particularly the more robust and well developed the system is, however, there can be a risk if the system is tricked by false data readings, has missing sensor data, or incorrectly analyzes a situation. Both of these risks are possible with a human user as well. A key advantage in autonomous control systems is the lack of need for a trained human pilot.
