Welcome to Second Grade at Santa Margarita School with Ms. Lewis! I'm so excited to welcome your students into my classroom for the 2026-2027 school year - it's going to be a spectacular year. I have created this classroom website as a resource for you to reference throughout the school year. This website should help to answer future questions and will be periodically updated to include important class information, virtual learning websites/links, upcoming breaks/holidays, testing/academics, assemblies, field trips, etc.
Back-to-School Night is TONIGHT! 9/9/26 from 5:00-6:00pm
*Email Communication: I generally send out weekly emails entitled, "2nd Grade Weekly News & Notes" to keep you in the loop with what is going on at school and in our classroom. I will plan to send those emails on Wednesdays, but I will let you know if that changes. Teachers are regularly receiving information from the district regarding procedures, policies, health updates, etc... so I want to be sure to keep you informed. Email is generally the most efficient form of communication that is used among the second grade teachers, therefore I would like to have the most current email addresses for all the parents who have students in my class this year.
***Once school begins, if your student is in my class and you have NOT received any emails from me yet, please email me so that I can be sure to add you to my email contact list for this year. :)
If you would like to help out and purchase any items for our classroom, we would GREATLY appreciate your support. CLICK HERE for Ms. Lewis' Updated Amazon Classroom Wishlist! ⭐
