During my freshman year at Oxford High School, I was presented with the opportunity to cover a story on Bonnie Barrasso, the last girlfriend Elvis Presley had before he married his wife, Priscilla. Next thing I knew, I was interviewing Mrs. Barrasso in Memphis, TN. Little did I know, this story would be the most viewed story in the history of The Charger with a total of 13,835 views as of February 2025. I received an award for Best Feature Story for this article at MSPA in 2023.
