NWEA MAP
The Ohio School for the Deaf and the Ohio State School for the Blind use the MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) Assessment in the fall, winter and spring in Mathematics, Reading, and Language. This assessment is used to provide data to write IEP goals as well as data to demonstrate growth among these academic areas. Megan Kirby-Bauman can set up accounts.

DRA
THe elementary and Middle School departments use the Developmental Reading Assessment in the fall, winter and spring to assess student’s reading levels. This is a 1:1 assessment completed by the teacher. Kits are stored in the curriculum rooms of each department. Please see your department chair or mentor teacher for training on how to use this assessment.
STAR Math
The STAR Math test is given in the fall and spring in the Elementary and Middle School Departments. Please see Megan Bauman for an account set up.
