This photo shows both an underpass and a two-way cycle path. The cycle path below allows for two lanes of travel under the main road above and the smaller road next to the cycle path for cars. This allows for the bicycle traffic to be seperated from cars and create a safer track for traffic. Since it is a two way path it is larger so that you can ride side by side in each lane or plenty of room to pass if needed. The underpass also has stairs connected to give another path for pedestrians. This picture shows multiple forms of transportation and how each path can be divided for different modes of transportations.
