Marking Period 1
The task was to write an essay with your group based off something read in "A Raisin In The Sun". We had to pick a theme and explain how it comes up throughout the story. We could've definitely did better on this if we worked together or communicated more. We kind of jus split the work and put it together in the end.
In this we had to answer the prompt "do you believe the Younger family should move forward with the move or should they accept Mr. Lindner’s offer and stay in the apartment?". I actually liked this assignment because there was no wrong answer and i got to pick and explain my thinking. This assignment was during our reading "A Raisin In The Sun".
Marking Period 2
This assignment is my grow because of my performance. I know myself personally I could do better in my writings if I did not wait till last minute and put more effort into it. In this assignment we had to Use the one-pager we created to write an essay detailing how Lorraine Hansberry develops your character in the play “A Raisin in the Sun”.
This assignment is my glo because I did well on it and also enjoyed creating it. This assignment we had to create a poster analyzing a stanza or two from a song of my choice for one of the three Big Six Skills for analyzing poetry that we have talked about in class. Speaker, Turns, and Tools. I had to identify at least three annotations and how the use of the tool affects the meaning or understanding of the song.
Marking Period 3
In this assignment we had to read a Chapter in the book " A Long Way Down" then basically reflect on what happened. This assignment I did extremely late so I did not get a good grade on it. So, for future times I just have to work on getting my work in on time so I can get the grade I really deserve.
This assignment we had to pick a person of our choice and create a presentation on why I think they deserve the over of the times magazine. I chose Beyonce and it was pretty easy because we got to pick who we wanted. Then I did really well on this assignment as well. This assignment was really just about your thinking so you could say what you wanted.
