The purpose of this project is to learn how to further develop our skills in improving a robot's hardware and software through the design process.Our project needs to be capable of finding and following a path, needed to stop at provided intersections for 6 seconds, be able to carry cargo from stop to stop, must have an emergency stop. During this project we had to follow certain concepts We had to combine a lot of simple movements to preformed complex actions, timing and making sure where we were placing the parts that they wouldn't interfere with the machine's task and that where everything was being placed was the right spot.
The purpose of this project is to build a conveyor belt that moves 5 widgets from Point A to Point B in a process while stopping at the sensors so pieces can be added to the widget so it can be fully built by the end of the process. The conveyor belt is supposed to be able to sense the widget and fully move on its own and the workers are only supposed to build the widget and pick it up when it’s done. This project included this concept by allowing us to build a transfer system to replicate an assembly line all while keeping costs to a minimum. Throughout the building of this conveyor belt we ran into a few difficulties that prove be to learning experiences for anything we do later on and if we could do this project again we would try to be more mindful of the goal and what our conveyor belt is supposed to do while also being very careful with how we organize different aspects of our project.
The purpose of the project is to efficiently design and produce a fully functioning part feeder system that minimizes injuries to workers with at least one hydraulic-powered movement. This Hydraulic power machine is to operate the machine we are assembling. During our project we were to make a safety plan to build accordingly. Everyone was good at collaboration and working together to make sure they have done their part on what they had to do which is why we got a good grade.
The purpose of this assignment is to be able to build a vex robot that has an input and output. Using the vex materials we will be able to monitor the input and output of our project. By this we can monitor the behavior of components then write program to run the robot. I feel like what went wrong in this project was that we just started using vex so we could not get it to work immediately. If we had to do this project again I would communicate with my group members as we did not because it was early in the school year.
