Vietnam War Protest Songs
The task of this Assignment was to examine a timeline and lyrics that were from songs in the 1960s that were used for protest and answer questions based on the lyrics.
The Objective of the assignment was to help us develop the understanding of the way people used to protest and how the writers of the songs used their opinion on the war in there music to give a different perspective of the Vietnam War.
This assignment fit in with the overall unit because the questions and lyrics presented were to help develop our understanding and lead us to answer a prompt at the end , which demonstrated our understanding on the overall unit.
I've learned that song writers in the 1960s advocated against the Vietnam War, by including their opinion throughout their songs to help listeners understand their perspective. The unit also helped me understand and develop my understanding and my power to answer these questions through evidence.
Reflection
This assignment showcases my strength in developing the main idea of the prompt and using evidence to develop the overall prompt.
This demonstrates an important theme in the course because the course is based on U.S history and this assignment fits in with the unit because it takes about a period in the United States history and how people protested.
I enjoyed how the assignment reflected my strengths and understanding in the unit, through my writing and understanding of the evidence provided.
Vietnam War Vocabulary Quiz
The task of this assignment was to use different vocabulary words from the Vietnam War and build a story from their lexicon definition, to show our understanding in the unit and the vocabulary.
The objective was to demonstrate our understanding in the unit and how were able to retain that information to develop a story, invoking the vocabulary.
The assignment fits in with the unit because we were given a set of vocabulary involving the Vietnam War to demonstrate our understanding on the unit.
I have learned the lexicon of the vocabulary and how to use the words in the story. I also learned how the Vietnam War rolled over and how everything was caused and the events leading up to it.
Reflection
The challenging part of this assignment was how to use some of the words and how clear my understanding was on the lexicon of the words. For example, I wouldn't be able to add two words in the same sentence because it wouldn't make sense.
I would improve how I would have formatted the story and try to use the words differently to have a better connecting story. I would also have to work on my time managing skills and how I try to use the words.

African Americans Respond to the Vietnam War
The task of this assignment was to view different sources and see how African Americans protested against the Vietnam War, and answer questions that would lead to a final prompt.
The objective was to gather evidence and reason how African Americans responded to the involvement of the U.S in the Vietnam War and how racism affected how African Americans responded.
The assignment fits in with the overall unit because it's about a period in the U.S and develops our understanding in U.S history and how African Americans responded.
I've learned that African Americans responded to the Vietnam War and the United States involvement in many different ways, because of racism and how they were treated.

The task of this assignment was to create a piece of art that demonstrated the theme of Law Day 2022, which was “Toward a More Perfect Union: The Constitution in Times of Change."
The objective of the assignment was to draw and demonstrate the theme throughout the artwork and have a clear understanding of it.
The assignment corresponds to the unit because it demonstrates aspects of the 2022 Law Day theme and is relevant to the information provided.
I learned how the 2022 Law Day Theme represents something farther than some people could understand.
Reflection
The challenging part of the assignment was finding corresponding art work that would reflect the theme and represent the theme in a perfect way.
I could improve on my research and the spacing throughout the paper to make it look more authentic, and represent the theme in a more relevant way.
