Transversal, Parallel Lines, and Perpendicular Test
The task of this assignment was to use our knowledge on the unit and the skills we developed through the unit to answer questions based on different types of lines.
The objective of the assignment was to use our skills and answer the questions correctly to show our understanding in the unit and methods used to solve the questions.
The assignment fit in with the overall unit because we were learning and developing our skills to find the equation of different lines and find the slope of them.
I learned different methods that can be used to create an equation for a parallel and perpendicular line.
The assignment showcases my strengths because if I was able to use my skills and develop my understanding to create an equation for a parallel and perpendicular line.
The assignment represents important themes in the course because we were learning about geometry and reviewing certain subjects from algebra as well to refresh our minds.
I enjoyed developing my skills and learning how to incorporate the knowledge learned to review my work and answer the questions.
Scale Factor and Dilation Test
The task of this assignment was to use our knowledge on the unit and the skills we developed through the unit to answer questions based on Scale Factor and dilation of a shape.
The objective of the assignment was to use our skills and answer the questions correctly to show our understanding in the unit and methods used to solve the questions.
The assignment fit in with the overall unit because we were learning and developing our skills to find the scale factor of a shape and use dilation to increase/decrease the size of a shape.
I learned that there are different methods that can be used to create dilation of a shape and different ways to find the scale factor of a shape.
The challenging part of the assignment was incorporating my thinking and methods needed to answer the questions and develop my thinking further.
I would improve the assignment by incorporating this methods in my work more to help familiarize the method more, and develop my skills.

Congruence Quiz
The task of the assignment was to answer a number of questions that were related to identifying if two shapes were congruent through different types of proofs and methods.
The objective of the assignment was to correctly identify if a shape was congruent to the others through SSS, AAS, SAS, and ASA.
The assignment fits in with the overall unit because this was supposed to prepare us for a test and also familiarize us with the different methods that could be used to find the congruence of a shape.
I learned that there are different ways to show and explain why shapes are congruent to each other and developed my skills further.
This assignment showcases my strengths because I was able to get a 100 after only two tries surprisingly. Also showcases my skills and how they are developing through the unit.
The assignment represents important themes in the course because we were learning about the congruence of a shape and how to use that to identify if they are similar to each other. Plus this falls under the geometry category and developing our skills in the overall course.
I enjoyed the assignment because you were able to try again if you did bad, but at the cost of 5 points for every try. Also helped me understand what i was doing wrong on the first try.
Triangle Test
The task of this assignment was to use our knowledge on triangles and use different methods learned throughout the unit, to answer questions based on different scenarios.
The objective of the assignment was to answer different questions correctly based on the unit and methods that could be used to solve them.
The assignment fits in with the overall unit because its part of geometry and also helps develop our skills further in the course and helps find new methods to answer the questions.
I learned that there is more than one correct way to fin the answer, you just have to think about it and learn new thin
The challenging part of this assignment was actually using the skills learned through the unit and actually put my thought together and have a good understanding of the test.
I could improve the assignment by revising my work and asking the teacher for an explanation, or actually review my work to have a understanding on the topic.

Area and Perimeter Test
The task of this assignment was to use different formulas corresponding to the volume and surface area of a shape to find the total volume and surface area of the image which was a swan.
The objective of the assignment was to use the right equation and to identify which shapes were corresponding to make it easier to find the volume of each shape and at the end add them all up.
The assignment fit in with the overall unit because we were learning about volume and surface area and was supposed to introduce us into something new and lead to a test.
I learned that you can break down a shape to a certain extent to help better find the volume and surface area of shape depending on how the shape is made and created.
The assignment showcases my strengths because I was able to break down the shape and able to use the corresponding parts of the shape to help better find the volume.
The assignment represents important themes in the course because it helps introduce a new subject in geometry and help develop my skills.
I enjoyed this assignment because I was able to develop my understanding and try a new method in finding the volume and surface area to make it easier.
House Authentic Assessment
The task of this assignment was to use different formulas corresponding to the volume and surface area of a shape to find the total volume and surface area of a floor plan and at the end calculate the cost of the house.
The objective of the assignment was to use the right equation and to identify which shapes were corresponding to make it easier to find the volume of each shape and at the end add them all up.
The assignment fits in with the overall unit because it was basically a final project that would help us a little in understanding and the test at the end.
By completing this assignment i was able to find a deeper understanding and develop my skills further. I also learned that I could break the house down into pieces to help find the formula much easier and accurate
The challenging part of the assignment was actually calculating the cost and making it as accurate as possible with the volume and surface area.
I could improve the assignment by revising the house and revising my calculation for the volume to make sure they were accurate or just ask for a little help next time and manage my time better.
