Exploring the Genetics of Taste: SNP Analysis of the PTC Gene Using PCR

This would be one of my grows out of my assignments of the second marking period due to my lack of understanding and the grade I got on the assignment. The task was to complete the quiz assigned based on what we learned as a class the last couple of weeks in regards to DNA. I was supposed to identify types of enzymes that can cut DNA, types of mutations, and protocols for a specific lab. I believe the reason for my grade was my lack of knowledge on the subject and the confusion with the terms on the quiz. I received a 50 on the quiz and failed to do test corrections. I believe that if I studied harder and had better comprehension on the material I would be able to get a higher grade.

PCR Quiz

This assignment would be labeled as my glow because I was able to successfully answer the questions due to my knowledge of the subject which was on PCR a Polyamerase Chain Reaction. I answered the 5 questions given and received the grade of a 100 which I am very glad about. Prior to this assignment I completed the other classwork that bettered my chance of getting a higher grade on this assignment. To continue to get grades like this on my assignments I will continue to pay attention in class and be interactive in the classroom because it helps he remember what I need for things such as quizzes and tests.
