We Can't Wait to Learn All About You!
As we prepare to welcome our newest learners to our OPS family, we want to get to know you one finger at a time! We hope this summer, you and your family will read The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn, which you received at Kindergarten Orientation.
The Challenge: Create an "All About Me" Handprint!
Make Your Masterpiece:
Trace & Cut: Trace your hand on a piece of paper and cut it out.
The Heart of the Hand: Draw or cut out a heart and glue it in the center. Write your name inside the heart!
Label Your Fingers: Count your fingers out loud as you label them by number.
Write About You: On each finger, write something about yourself; pick a prompt from below to answer!

What is your birthday month?
What is your favorite animal, color, book, or holiday?
What do you want to learn in kindergarten?
Your teacher will display these special handprints in the hallway to show everyone that our kindergarten class has arrived!
