Header: On the left. Double Spaced. Proper MLA format.
Important:
The MLA Header (also called the Running header) is in the Doc header so that it repeats on following pages.
The MLA Heading (the one with your name, teacher, class and date) is on the body of the Doc so that it does NOT repeat.
Margins: MLA = 1 inch all the way around
Font: Double-spaced, Times New Roman 12-point — header, title and Works Cited, too!
Citations: Instructions for proper MLA citations. CHECK for proper punctuation.
Lead in, “quote” (Author’s last name pg#).
Scout recalls her love of reading saying, “Until I feared I would lose it, I never loved to read. One does not love breathing” (Lee 212).
