Badminton Tournament

We are delighted to report on the outstanding performance of our students at the Mid Herts Badminton Tournament held recently at Queenswood School! The competition showcased incredible skill, determination, and excellent sportsmanship from all our participants.

Our teams showed their competitive spirit right up until the final whistle, achieving fantastic results:

• Under 16 Boys Team: Finished an impressive 2nd place overall! Their dedication and teamwork throughout the tournament were truly commendable.

• Under 13 Team: Secured a superb 3rd place, demonstrating great potential for the future of badminton at our school.

A Word from the Coaches

Both Mr. Coombs and Mr. Hawkesworth were bursting with pride following the students' success.

“The results speak for themselves, but what stood out even more was the exceptional sportsmanship displayed by all our players," commented Mr. Coombs. "They represented the school brilliantly and supported each other every step of the way." 

Mr. Hawkesworth added, "To see the commitment and hard work pay off with a 2nd and a 3rd place finish is fantastic. We are incredibly proud of the students, not just for their placements, but for how they conducted themselves on and off the court. Well done to everyone involved!"
