We have learned lately people have been joining large zoom meetings and sharing inappropriate and distracting content. For this reason, we have added these security measures that you can put to practice in order to keep your Zoom meetings safe.
Note that some of these features are free, and others you can only use when you have a Zoom Pro license. If you have any questions, head over to the other tabs were we tell you which of these are free features and which are only included with Licensed accounts.
The meeting host has the option to determine who has screen sharing permissions. If the host is the only person using screen sharing, we recommend using the "only host" option in the advanced settings.
If you need multiple participants screen sharing enable to options shown below: 1- Only once participant can share at a time. 2- Only the host can start sharing when someone else is sharing.
This way you can keep track of who is receiving the meeting invitation. Visit the meeting registrations tab, and check on the participants who have registered to make sure things seem normal.
If you are highly concerned about the security of your call, you may want to manually approve those who have registered.
If something inappropriate happens during a call, you can head over to manage participants, and remove a specific participant from the call.
