You can either share your whole desktop, or a specific window that you have open (Recommended). You can also share your computer audio by clicking the box on the bottom left corner.
Click the "slide show" tab and "play from start."
If you have two screens connected to your computer, you should be able to see the following view on your second screen. The "presenter view" is extremely helpful when doing presentations and trainings via zoom.
When you hover at the top, you can see the additional settings. It is important to note that only you are able to see this, not the participants.
First, let's take a look at the "pause" option at the top. This allows you to freeze a frame while you share your screen. You can resume by clicking "Resume Share."
You can also add annotations. We encourage you to try this and practice before using it during a live digital experience.
Remote control allows you to give another participant remote access to your screen during the meeting. They will be able to move your mouse, and type anything as if they were using your computer. To end, just click "abort control."
You can also share your screen from another Apple device, if you are already taking the call from a Mac computer. To do this select the "iPhone/ iPad" option when you first share your screen. Install the required plugin and follow the instructions.
On your phone, go to screen mirroring and select "Zoom-{name of computer}"
You will see on the left I am selecting the "screen mirroring" option from my phone. On the right, you can see what the phone looks like from a computer setting.
I opened the Bible App for Kids on my phone, and this is what it looked like as it was being shared through zoom.
