See when everyone's available by layering their calendars
Add people to your event
On your computer, open Google Calendar >Click Edit event.
On the right, under "Guests," start typing the name of the person and choose someone from your contacts. You can also type an email address to invite people who aren't in your contacts list.
To mark a guest as optional, next to the guest's name, click Mark optional. If you don't see the icon, hover over the guest's name.
When you're done editing your event, click Save.
Find a meeting time
If someone has shared their calendar with you or is part of your work, school, or other organization, you can check if they're free or busy when adding them to an event.
On your computer, open Google Calendar.
On the left, click Search for People.
Start typing someone’s name and choose the person you want to meet with.
At the top left, click Create.
Click Suggested times. If the guest you invited has shared their calendar with you, you'll see when they can attend.
